1. From the drawing, the center point of the keyway direction of the input shaft of the indexing gearbox is directly opposite to the direction of the output shaft, and the center line of the input shaft is perpendicular to the center line of the output shaft. This position is what we call the repose angle of the indexing gearbox. For example, when the driving angle is 270 degrees, its angle of repose is 90 degrees, then the center of the input axis is located at the center of the angle of repose, which is 45 degrees.

2. Depending on the model of the indexing gearbox, the position of the output shaft and its flange surface at the center of the rest position is as shown on the left side of the figure above.

3. The illustration of the static point of the input shaft on the indexing gearbox, the installation method of the induction cam of the input shaft, here is an example of the installation position of the input shaft and the signal cam with a driving angle of 270 degrees, the signal cam and the indexing gearbox The keyway of the input shaft is aligned.

When installing the cam indexing gearbox with the disc, first adjust the indexing gearbox to the static position, and then install the drive disc, so that the processing station corresponds to the intermittent position of the indexing gearbox.
