equipment will go through the measurement of various sizes and parameters. At the same time, various types of adjustments must be made to the difference of various sizes to achieve the good mechanical performance of the indexer itself. From the perspective of the user, how to perform a simple test on the newly purchased indexer?
The structure of the cam indexer is relatively simple in appearance, but due to its own precision, it is not a simple process to assemble and adjust it. We know that the globular cam is designed for the processing program from design to processing. The control is stricter, and its processing curve is also more complicated. The assembly requires the internal components of each indexer to be reasonably matched and connected to achieve the best mechanical performance during use. Therefore, even if the newly purchased indexer is used It is also necessary to manually test the indexer before use to determine the effect of the indexer before use. Most indexer assembly problems and interference are generally attributed to imperfect assembly and debugging.
1. Test operation. First, turn the input axis of the indexer by hand (of course, this is for relatively small indexers), and each station rotates. The manual touch can judge whether the input rotation is smooth or not. At the same time, for the output axis Check the position switching status of the indexer to ensure the smooth operation of the force axis of the indexer. When rotating, you should pay attention to whether the split angle and position are accurate, whether the torque generated by friction is too large, whether the linkage with the surrounding parts is effectively matched, etc. When the model of the indexer is large, or the installation space cannot be rotated manually, you can start the motor and rotate it at the slowest speed or close to the idle speed to check the indexer. Start the motor to test the indexer, pay attention to observation and test from the aspects of hearing, vision or touch.
2. Continuous operation. After the preliminary test of the indexer of the
automation system has been carried out and the operation is normal, restart the motor from the slowest speed and rotate in a continuous and slow speed increase method for further testing. Rotate from a low speed. Begin to slowly adjust to the speed of the entire automation system when it is running, and pay attention to whether there are abnormal noises, vibrations, heating, and oil leakage during the process. After confirming that it is correct, use a long time of rotation to check whether there are any phenomena such as initial wear and accuracy changes.
